Michiel is following practical education at the Fioretti College and has completed an internship at Mobile Tower Cranes (MTC). This company develops, produces and sells mobile tower cranes. The tower cranes are used all over the world. After a successful time, Michiel really wanted to stay with this company. MTC immediately agreed to a new, longer, more intensive internship because Michiel really is a hard worker. Or as he says himself: “Do not whine, just work”.
At MTC Michiel works in the workshop and carries out many different activities; he welds, assembles, tinkers, assists and is very proud that he is covered in oil every day. He also likes to go with the field staff and then perform these tasks on cranes. As a starting trainee, Michiel was allowed to join the field staff a few times to "look". But thanks to the Power Certificate from Afa Dispensing, Michiel could obtain his VCA and now actually work on the cranes on location. In addition, Michiel is offered an annual contract with his VCA in his pocket. Now he has the necessairy permit to work with the field staff.
